Lucerne, the 'high-tech', 'meant for artwork' city offers local flower, fruit, vegetable vendors a nice space on weekends!

State of the art cable-car network. Some of the roads you see down there have magic belts i.e., an innovative transport mechanism for the locals to move up the hill. They can also slide down the sliders which are also present! I would have loved to do that myself, but for the lack of time...
